Iphigenia Loads in on Monday. I still have a lot of shopping to do for scenery to do. This has been an interesting design experience for me because I have taken a back seat. This version written by Caridad Svich is very video and sound heavy. My role has been to make it possible for video to most eloquently tell the story Tony our director wants told. This is also a movement based show so I have been very thoughtful about the floor plan. Tony and I have come up with the solution that we will figure out the final ground plan within the first couple days of tech. I am excited to have the luxury to change the flow of the scenery so late in the process. This is the kind of show that demands this type of flexibility.
