Yesterday Betsey Palmer and I went to the Goodman Free-For-All. They had put out props and soft good free for the taking. I went with a couple items in mind.
For Project 891 I got some stage blacks, an end table and a lamp. Both the lamp and end table may make an appearance in "Our Leading Lady" this fall. And for the Society of Young Superheros' "Powerless" I picked up a great couch and a table for a hospital bed that will turn into a bar. Betsey got a 26' x 16' white nylon drop. This will be used in future work for the Catharsis Junkies as a projectable surface and this really cool radio tuner from the 70's that will turn into an interactive installation. We also went through a couple of boxes of books looking for fun titles while we waited for a truck to meet us there. A couple of the memorable ones I'll post the covers soon!
